The uninterrupted vista of the northern Dalmatian islands from east to west, together with the strong gusts of the bura wind from the north, shaped the organisation of this house into two volumes of differing character: a white volume oriented towards the sea, which through large openings lets the sea views into the living spaces and the main bedrooms upstairs, and a more enclosed stone volume facing Velebit, housing the ancillary rooms, whose geometry acts as a kind of windbreak against the bura.
